Does your bank account act as a mirror for your subconscious beliefs?

Subconscious Patterning

Maybe you have never thought of it before, but it is interesting perhaps for you to ponder: is you bank account, not so much a measure of how hard you work, but instead a mirror that reflects back to you your innermost beliefs, thoughts, and emotions about money? In most part, if you really let yourself go deep into your conditioning, I would imagine you would agree. This is because beneath the surface of all of us lies a complex network of subconscious patterns dictating our financial reality. Indeed, our relationship with money is deeply rooted in our subconscious, often influencing our financial decisions without us even realising it.

These subconscious beliefs act as silent architects, constructing the blueprint of our financial landscape. They shape our perceptions of wealth, success, and abundance, molding our reality in turn. However, the catch is that these beliefs often operate beneath our conscious awareness - which may be why some of you initially (or have continued to) answered ‘no’ to my question above.

And so our journey to unravel this subconscious patterning, has to begin with awareness. By shining a light on our beliefs about money, we can uncover the subconscious blocks that are stopping our financial realities from being those that we desire.

Unravelling the Stories

Take a moment to reflect: what beliefs about money have you inherited from your upbringing, culture, or past experiences? Are you plagued by thoughts of scarcity, fear of failure, or feelings of unworthiness when it comes to wealth?

Once identified, these subconscious blocks can be challenged and replaced with empowering beliefs. It’s akin to renovating an old house; tearing down the walls of limiting beliefs and constructing a new foundation of abundance.

In his book "Happy Pocket Full of Money" David Cameron Gikandi delves into the concept of abundance consciousness, emphasising the importance of aligning our thoughts and beliefs with prosperity. Gikandi suggests that by shifting our mindset and adopting beliefs rooted in abundance, we can unlock the unlimited potential of the universe.

But how do we usher in this transformation? The answer lies in the power of our thoughts. By consciously cultivating new beliefs and affirmations, we can rewire our brains to resonate with the frequency of abundance.

It might start with daily affirmations of "I am worthy of wealth," or "Money flows to me effortlessly and abundantly." These statements will start to change your energetics around money, elevating your vibration and attracting like-minded energy into your life. As renowned author Napoleon Hill famously said, "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." This of course is the beauty of working in the Quantum Field, and why I love working with my Healy so much - when you understand Quantum Physics, you understand that every reality is available to you - you just have to shift your frequency to attract it.

Gratitude

Incorporating gratitude for the money we already have amplifies this process. My friend Jessica McCleskey Hood Mahle shared with me a beautiful ritual her family has: ringing a bell whenever money enters their home, no matter how small. I adopted this practice in our home to help my husband Josh, who has struggled with fear and stress around money all of his life.

Josh's story with money was one of constant worry. He lived in fear of not having enough and tightly held onto what he had. This was vastly different from my own relationship with money; I have always known to my core that I am able to attract money to me. Wanting him to experience the same ease, I gave him a bell two Christmases ago. I cried as I handed it to him, as I so desperately want it to be part of a shift fr him towards relaxation and trust.

We rang that bell often, not matter what amount of money entered our home. Each ring of the bell reminding us of the abundance flowing into our lives. Over time, along with many heartfelt conversations, Josh's relationship with money has transformed - we don’t ring the bell as much these days, although I try to remember to, but we don't need to in the same way. Josh still worries a lot more than me, but compared to the first decade of our lives together (despite him never having real cause to worry) the stress and fear has massively reduced.

Cultivating gratitude for existing abundance creates fertile ground for more to flow. This shift in mindset has the power to attract even greater prosperity into our lives. As we embrace abundance and release fear, we open ourselves to the infinite possibilities that the universe has to offer.

Money as a Living Entity

Money is not merely a medium of exchange; it is energy, a living entity, that responds to our actions and intentions. When we live in a state of lack and scarcity, fearing that money will not return to us if we release it, we inadvertently block its flow. However, when we trust in the abundance of the universe and freely give and receive, we create a positive energetic exchange that attracts more wealth into our lives.

One way that I work with this energy is to tip generously when I receive really good service. This is also something that I also often nudge Josh to do, and in the past he would have found very hard, as he would have felt that giving more than 10-12%, was an unnecessary ‘loss’ to our bank account. However I see this not just a financial transaction; it is an acknowledgment of the abundant flow of energy. By giving generously, we signal to the universe that we trust in its abundance and open ourselves to receiving more in return.

It is time to Break the Agreements

I was in conversation with another friend of mine, also Jessica, this time Hesser, this week and she was sharing with me the idea that in fact we are often in agreement with the beliefs that are perpetuating the cycle of lack and scarcity. Often, we may find ourselves in agreement with these limiting beliefs without even realising it. Perhaps we've internalised messages from society or absorbed the fears and anxieties of those around us.

It's essential to examine these agreements and question their validity. Are we truly in alignment with beliefs that hold us back? Or are we simply accepting them as truth without challenging their validity? By shining a light on these agreements, we can begin to dismantle their power over us and rewrite our financial narrative. aligning your thoughts, intentions, and behaviours with abundance, I believe you can unlock the door to unlimited prosperity. I want every woman to believe they are worthy of all the wealth and abundance the universe has to offer. I want you to embrace your inherent worthiness, and watch as the flow of abundance fills your life with joy and fulfillment.

Whilst I acknowledge that this ‘work’ is not easy, I also know to my core that it is the only way we can truly shift our reality when it comes to money, and there is not time like the present to do so. I think we can all agree life is too short, and we deserve to live it in our highest expression, and the freer we are to not have to worry about money, the easier that is to do. I am here for it. I hope you are too.
