About Me

Nice to meet you! Keep on reading if you want to get to know me better

Hello, I’m Rochelle.

When I left university I found myself working as a Tax Consultant, making rich men richer. However, I was the girl who sent emails to the floor of 750 people in the firm that I worked for, berating everyone for not recycling (I cared about the environment before it became trendy to do so!). I was also the girl who walked around the office in a floaty skirt and hoop earrings, when everyone else wore suits. Needless to say I have always been happy to stand out from the crowd, and that line of work was not following my calling. Being different though went in my favour and I ended up being chosen to work directly with a Partner of the firm around a Sustainability and Climate Change offering, which was much more ‘me’, but life had other plans for me nonetheless.

Not long after meeting the love of my life, Josh, I moved from London to be with him and I became unexpectedly pregnant. 2009 saw me become a mother at the age of 26. Motherhood gave me an even greater sense of self, and through the choices that I made as a young mother, for my child, showed me even more how willing I was to not ‘go with the status quo’.

When my son was two, I met a Health Coach, and she (Ania) opened my eyes to the world of entrepreneurship - making money from following my passions, whilst also getting to be the full time mother I was being called to be. Within one year my business was born, and I am grateful to say that I have had more success in this way of being than I could have ever hoped.

Of course along the way my business has adapted and changed as I have been presented with new opportunities, growth experiences and learning, but the core has always been about freedom.

Liberation is the throughline of my story

Liberation from the diet culture and body shaming I had learnt as a girl

Liberation from the food industry’s indoctrination around what to eat

Liberation from the medical industry’s indoctrination about how to be ‘healthy’

Liberation from the standardised system around my children’s education (choosing instead homeschooling and Steiner Waldorf)

Liberation from the economic cogs of ‘employment’ to instead creating my own financial freedom

Liberation from the belief that women are the same as men and should show up as ‘little men’ - instead fully embracing the power and beauty of the Feminine
